Troubleshooting Scanning Issues - Handheld Devices

Overview


As for any electronic device,  handheld devices encounter errors that can be fixed by rebooting it or relaunching the application. This article covers one error that can be resolved by restarting your handheld device or the Cloud Retailer application.


Procedure


Error Message:  Product is not a part of the inventory count


1. Confirm that the item is part of the inventory. If it is not part of the inventory, follow the steps in Creating a new product (101) article

2. Once confirmed, press the square icon at the bottom right of your device. This will show you all the running applications. 



3. Swipe up on the Cloud Retailer application to close it.

4. Reopen the Cloud Retailer application and log back in.



Error Message:  Cannot add/scan a product in Pick List order and get below error


Please make sure when creating a Pick List Order in Handheld, the Reference number and the Decription should not be the same.
