Handling of Credit Card Fees in Dual Pricing vs Regular

Modified on Wed, 07 Jun 2023 at 08:15 AM

Overview

This article provides a brief comparison of how credit card fees are treated in a Dual Pricing environment versus when there is no Dual Pricing.

On Dual Pricing

The fee comes out BEFORE it is deposited into the account.

Example:

Let's say you took in $1035.00 in sales, $35 would be the CC fees. So the next day you will see a $1000.00 deposit into your account.

No Dual Pricing

The fee comes out once a month, usually around the 1st of the month.

Example:

Let's say you took in the same $1035.00 in sales, and your cc fees are $35, this would be taken out at the beginning of the month, so you would see the full $1035 put into your account.
