Overview
The procedure below will detail how to set up a shared windows printer as a device in Cloud Retailer.
Procedure
If you plan on printing to a shared windows printer at the POS you'll need to specify the printer in the device settings in "\\ComputerName\PrinterName" format. For example, if your computer name is POS1 and the printer is named Dymo Label Writer then the printer should be setup as:
\\POS1\Dynmo Label Writer
You will, of course, need the windows printer share setup on the computer prior to attempting the print jobs. A few common scenarios for this are:
-Keg tag printing to a tag printer (you can setup receipt templates that print out sticky tags for various purposes)
-Full page invoice printing to a shared 8.5x11 network printer
