Inactivate items/products in Cloud Retailer using Import tool

This article explains the process to Inactivate bulk items/products in Cloud Retailer.


  1. Prepare a list of items in an excel sheet that needed to be inactivated.
  2. Create a CSV file that looks as in the attached sample file, all we need is Product code as code and IsActive Column to be set as False for all as you can see on the sample file.
  3. Take the backup of the instance.
  4. Log into the CR Back Office and go to Tools > Import Tools and then click on Products as shown in the screenshot below:  
  5. Upload the CSV file that you have prepared and run the import and it will deactivate/Inactivate all the items from your CSV file.
  6. You can check couple of products in the BO and verify if they are inactivated.
