Overview

This screen allows for searching and management of Inventory Counts.


NOTE: This page has been updated in version 4.6 (and newer) of Cloud Retailer.  Older versions may not reflect all of the fields below.


Screen Layout

Search Grid

Default Properties

  • Filtered on Date finalized is empty OR Date finalized >= (Two weeks before today)

  • Sorted by Last counted (newest to oldest)

Columns

  • Id: An internal identifier for the count. This column is hidden by default.
  • Location name: The Location that contains the inventory to be counted. This column is hidden by default for instance with a single Location.
  • Reference number: A unique name or identifier for the Inventory Count.
  • Status: The current condition of the Inventory Count.
    • Open: Indicates the count can continue to be modified or deleted.
    • Finalized: Indicates the count has been committed and can no longer be edited.
    • Inactive: Indicates the count has been deleted and is not active.
  • Inventory count type: The type of count that is to be performed.
    • Spot check: A quick count with no list and you scan whatever you'd like.
    • Quick adjust - Entire store: A count for all products in a location that allows you to quickly edit quantities.
    • Quick adjust - Custom filter: A count that only includes products matching a given filter and allows you to quickly edit quantities.
    • Complete audit - Entire store: A thorough count of all products in a given Location
    • Complete audit - Custom filter: A thorough count for products matching a given filter.
    • Inventory Check-In: Allows you to tell the system you have some of these products on hand without performing a full inventory count.
  • Unique products expected: The number of unique products that are expected to be counted based on the Inventory count type and filters.
  • % products counted: The percent of the Unique products that have had at least one count entry made.
  • Unique products counted: The total of the Unique products that have had at least one count entry made. This column is hidden by default.
  • % products uncounted: The percent of the Unique products that have not had at least one count entry made. This column is hidden by default. 
  • Unique products uncounted: The total of the Unique products that have not had at least one count entry made. This column is hidden by default. 
  • Notes: The notes written in the inventory count properties. This column is hidden by default. 
  • Last counted: The date and time of the last record to be counted.
  • Date created: The date and the time when this count was created. This column is hidden by default. 
  • Data finalized: The date and the time of when the count was finalized.


Action Buttons

  • Enter Quantities for Inventory Count: Opens the appropriate count screen depending on the Inventory count type.
  • Create New Inventory Count: Creates a new Inventory Count in the Back Office - Inventory Count Properties screen.
  • Edit Selected Inventory Count: Edits the selected Inventory Count in the Back Office - Inventory Count Properties screen.
  • Copy Selected Inventory Count: Creates a new Inventory Count based on the selected Inventory Count.
  • Delete Selected Inventory Count: Deletes the selected Inventory Count.
