What happens if you have cashiers that are accidentally pressing the Tax Icon next to Products at the POS removing tax from a product when it should be applied but you still want them to have the ability to change tax if necessary. This can be resolved by adjusting permissions on the users role then creating a button to toggle tax.


NOTE: This only works on user Roles that are NOT a "PosSuperUser". This means that the setting "IsPosSuperUser" must be disabled under the section "Point Of Sale". The instructions below assume this setting is disabled.

If the setting "IsPosSuperUser" any user with the role assigned will be able to do anything at the POS.

  1. Login to the Back Office.
  2. Click Admin > Search for "Users" and click on "Manage employee roles".
  3. Select the role you would like to limit.
  4. Scroll down to the section "Pos Commands Usage".
    1. Disable the following.
    2. Enable the following.
  5. Click "Save" to apply the changes.
